This Privacy Policy explains how The Pizza Quiz LTD ("we," "our," or "us") handles your information when you use CleanHide ("App"), an iOS application for hydration tracking, daily stretching, and phone optimization. We are committed to transparency and to complying with the Apple App Store Guidelines, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and all other applicable data protection laws.

By downloading or using CleanHide, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Data We Collect

1.1. Data Processed and Stored Locally on Your Device

CleanHide is built with a privacy-first architecture. The following categories of data are processed and stored exclusively on your device. We never transmit this data to our servers or any third party:

  • Hydration & Energy Data: Water intake logs, energy levels, daily goals, streaks, and historical statistics.
  • Stretch Activity Data: Completed routines, warm-up history, and exercise preferences.
  • Photo Library Access: When you use the photo duplicate finder or screenshot cleaner, CleanHide accesses your Photo Library solely to scan for duplicates and similar images on-device. No photos or image data are uploaded, transmitted, or stored outside your device. Access requires your explicit permission via the iOS system prompt.
  • Contacts Access: When you use the contact cleaner, CleanHide reads your Contacts solely to identify and merge duplicate entries on-device. No contact data is uploaded, transmitted, or stored outside your device. Access requires your explicit permission via the iOS system prompt.
  • Video Files: When using the video compressor, video processing happens entirely on your device. Original and compressed files remain on your device.
  • Secure Folder: Files you place in the Secure Folder are encrypted with iOS Data Protection and protected by your device passcode or biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID). We have no ability to access, decrypt, or recover this data.

1.2. Data Collected Automatically

We collect a minimal amount of technical data to maintain and improve the App:

This data is aggregated and anonymized. It cannot be used to identify you personally. This information corresponds to what we disclose in the App Store App Privacy "Nutrition Label."

1.3. Data You Provide Voluntarily

If you contact our support team at info@getclearflow.app, you may share:

  • Your email address (so we can reply)
  • Device model, iOS version, and app version (for diagnosis)
  • Screenshots or a description of the issue

We use this information solely to resolve your support request.

1.4. Data We Do Not Collect

CleanHide does not collect:

  • Location data
  • Health or medical data (hydration tracking is informational only and does not use Apple HealthKit)
  • Financial or payment information (all payments are processed by Apple)
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
  • Browsing history or data from other apps

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal bases for processing are:

  • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the App's features you requested (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Legitimate Interests: Anonymous analytics to improve the App, provided these interests do not override your rights (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Consent: Where you have granted device-level permission for Photos or Contacts access (Article 6(1)(a)). You may revoke this at any time via iOS Settings.
  • Legal Obligation: Where we must comply with applicable law (Article 6(1)(c)).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve the App's features
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
  • Respond to your support inquiries
  • Understand anonymous usage patterns to prioritize development
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising profiling or sale to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1. On-Device Storage

Personal data (hydration logs, stretch history, photos, contacts, secure files) resides solely on your iPhone, protected by iOS Data Protection, your device passcode, and biometric authentication.

4.2. iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud Backup, your device — including CleanHide data — may be backed up to iCloud. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and your personal iCloud settings.

4.3. Security Measures

  • Secure Folder encryption via iOS Data Protection APIs
  • No server-side storage of personal data
  • Regular security audits and updates

While we employ industry-standard practices, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100 % secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1. Apple

  • App Store & StoreKit: App distribution, in-app purchase processing, and subscription management. Apple processes all payment and billing data; we never see your payment details.
  • App Store Connect Analytics: Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated download and usage statistics.
  • Apple Diagnostics: If you opt in via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements, crash and diagnostic data may be shared with us through Apple.

5.2. No Third-Party Ad Networks or Trackers

CleanHide does not include any third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or social media analytics.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

CleanHide offers premium features via auto-renewable subscriptions processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card number, Apple ID password, or billing address. For Apple's data handling practices, see Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only when:

  • You explicitly consent (e.g., sending a support email).
  • Required by law — in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or legal process.
  • Service providers — trusted partners who help us operate (e.g., email hosting for support). They are bound by confidentiality agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1. All Users

  • View and delete hydration and stretch data inside the App.
  • Revoke Photo Library or Contacts access at any time via iOS Settings > CleanHide.
  • Delete the App to remove all locally stored data instantly.
  • Opt out of Apple diagnostics sharing via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

9.2. European Economic Area (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Port your data to another provider
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

9.3. California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected and how it is used
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share your data
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

9.4. How to Exercise Your Rights

10. Children's Privacy

CleanHide is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us at info@getclearflow.app and we will promptly delete the information.

11. International Data Transfers

Because personal data is stored locally on your device, international transfers are minimal. Any data we do process (e.g., support emails) may be handled in countries where our service providers operate. Where transfers occur outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms to ensure adequate data protection.

12. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a security breach that affects your personal data, we will notify affected users and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours, as required by the GDPR, and take immediate steps to mitigate any harm.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the App or email. Your continued use of CleanHide after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
